Description:

The department of English Language in Aynda Technical institute was established in 2015 to welcome a bunch of students including morning and evening classes. Due to the high demands of the English language in the area, the number of students has gradually increased. This department accepts graduates of 12th grade from both literary and scientific branches.

Mission:

The mission of the department is to achieve academic excellence in the field of English Language to educate students with substantial knowledge of both English language and literature as well as Western culture.

It also strives to prepare the graduates for dealing with a fast- changing society in Kurdistan Region- Iraq, in particular, and the world in general. It also prepares graduate students to cope with the development of the technological facilities used in the field of education. In addition, to providing unique and appropriate learning opportunities for a brighter future. 
The department also makes use of the intellectual development and upgrading English utilization capabilities for creating competent researchers in different levels of English and Kurdish linguistics through contrastive studies.

Vision:

We are using all the most up to date methods of learning English. Therefore, our students will be able to learn English in an effective way including their (Speaking, reading, writing, and listening) abilities.  Furthermore, the department looks forward to preparing students for future careers wherever they are needed and creating a strong connection with the needs of job marketing.

Language of Teaching:

All the subjects are studied in the English language during the two academic years of studying in this department.

Future Job opportunities:

The graduates of this department will have various future job opportunities in various fields of market. The doors of the government and private sectors will be wide open to welcome them since the English language speakers are expected to have more chances of employment in the different sectors including government and private ones. Moreover, students will be able to work as teachers in kindergartens and private schools or as translators in private companies.
